Life in a Suitcase: The Journey to Self Discovery!

I like to write! Well obviously, that’s why I decided to start this blog. Writing has always been a significant part of my life. I started writing when I was very young. It was my escape, my way of expressing myself and dealing with issues. It is therapy!

In 2016 I met this amazing woman, Gertrude and during a conversation, she mentioned that she blogs (You can read her articles on: and we discussed how I had been procrastinating on starting my blog for the past 5 years. So after reading a couple of her articles and a couple of pep talks and encouragement from people, I decided to finally do it and that’s how this blog came to Life.

Life in a suitcase: The journey to self-discovery explores my daily life and experiences as a single mum, a friend, a sister, an analyst and a professional. The title is inspired by events of my life since 2014.

The Journey to self-discovery is an emotional one where I explore different issues that surround my life and the lives of those within my circles and outside. It is about rediscovering who we are as people and making a contribution to society. It is about reshaping our beliefs in order to become responsible citizens, friends, mothers and so forth. It is about taking in new experiences and embedding them into our lives allowing them to change us for the better. It is about motivating others through sharing experiences and knowledge on certain issues but above all, it is about rediscovering who I am as a person, what makes me.

I hope that somehow my work here helps someone out there and that I will be a source of inspiration for many.

I appreciate any valuable feedback on my work.

Happy Reading!!!

Love always,
